Jeni Dahn - SOI Mentorship Practitioner
Every spiritual being weaves a unique and personal path, and my path is no exception. My name is Jeni Dahn, and I am honored to be a part of the Sundust Oracle Institute. Upon relocating to Seattle and opening my Shamanic Healing practice, Light By Dahn, I was guided to connect with Char Sundust. Spirit has a beautiful way of weaving our path to include those who are intended to teach, mentor, and guide us along the way. Char has been my teacher, mentor, and guide for the past four years, and I cherish the wisdom and community she has shared with me.
It was a life altering event, in my early twenties, to which I attribute the beginning of my spiritual journey. It’s been said that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. My first teacher was a Lakota medicine man named Rick Koshak. The teachings Rick shared not only touched me deeply, but intrigued me to learn more. For the next few years, teachers came in many shapes and forms, and it was my trip to Egypt that opened my eyes to the healing power contained with in all that had been shared along the way. Upon travelling to Peru, I awakened to the ancient teachings of the Inca civilization and crossed paths with The Four Winds Society. It is the teachings and tools shared by The Four Winds Society, along with Sundust Oracle Institute, that make up the pillars of my spiritual foundation.
As a mentor for SOI, I offer my light in service. As a reflection point you will be guided to explore all of the gifts, talents, and wisdom you contain with in. I look forward to being a part of your path.
Claudia Hansen Lockwood - SOI Mentorship Practitioner
I wanted to look for a good quote to set the tone for this bio, but after thinking about it, I decided to use my own favorite quote, “Our thoughts are prayers,” and just go with that. My thought is that everyone is doing the best they can and some have better tools for life than others. If your parents gave you tools that are ineffective for your life, then if the boat of your life starts to sink, you will end up bailing metaphorically with a rake or a trowel. There is nothing wrong with this except it is the “wrong tool.” You need a bucket! That is my job, to help you find a bucket…a tool and/or tools that work for your life!
I am a Seattle native who began seeking in my early 30’s when I moved to Hawaii after six years at The Herald in Everett as a newspaper reporter. Hawaii is a gorgeous, beautiful, and intense place, whatever you are feeling, you will feel it more there. I found “est” or “est” found me and the Journey to the Self began. I joined a group of Rebirthers, went to India with the founder of Rebirthing, Leonard Orr and found an Ascended Master.
Abubabaji is a Sufi Saint whose motto is “Trust in God, Respect All Religions.” He taught me, among many things, that God sent the three great religions of the world — Hindu, Christian, Islam - each with their own teachers and that they came to teach about God in a way that is geared to our own cultures. Thus, he told me, “I will teach you about being a Christian” and he did! After three visits to see him in India, I returned to the US and continued with my life journey. I married Bill Thal, began a life in North Seattle and moved into a career in the employment industry. Bill was very artistic and creative and we had many cacti, exotic pets, 5 dogs, a bird (Doogan, the Naughty New Guinean). I met Char in the early 90’s and we began traveling together. We went to Europe for my 50th birthday, and to the Yucatan for the Millennia. Our adventures are incredible, and yes, we are both writing books!
Bill passed away from lung cancer in 1998 and I went back to school to get a Master’s Degree and become a counselor. I graduated from LIOS/Bastyr in 2000 and am now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I work for the YWCA part-time and also have a private practice in Edmonds. I married Larry Lockwood, (I met him at a Federal Way High School reunion picnic) and we live in Fall City with our little Pomeranian, Stella. We like to RV, travel and play with family and friends and now I want to “play” with you!

Sharon Maffett- SOI Mentorship Practitioner
Sharon completed her 3-year training with Sundust Oracle Institute in 2011. She is in service as a Shamanic Practitioner and as a psychotherapist, a nutritionist, and a Reiki practitioner. She takes great pleasure in joining these healing modalities together when she works with people, helping them to connect their Heart and Mind with their Soul.
Sharon holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology from Bastyr University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carnegie-Mellon University. She is thrilled and honored to be a part of the SOI team.
Phoenix Murphy- SOI Mentorship Practitioner/ Soul Retrievals
Phoenix studied Toltec Shamanism for over 10 years while living in the Bay Area. In those years she was able to learn the art of shape shifting her perspective in order to consciously choose how and where to invest her energy. She learned how to work with her belief systems, fears, emotions, stories, dreams and energy bodies so as to develop the self-awareness that is necessary to fully wake up, regain consciousness and transform what is no longer working into something new. The Toltec are masters at unplugging from the dream of fear and reinvesting their energy into the power of Love. This allows one to transform thoughts, feelings, memories, fears, habits etc. etc. into positive self-loving expressions of life. In using the Toltec wisdom tools Phoenix has learned how to guide others to unplug from the Dream of the Planet to reclaim their power, maintain their power and become fully present in every moment. In moving up to Seattle 9 years ago, she continued to follow the calling and curiosity into the trails stemming from the questions of “Why are we all here?”, “Why am I here?”, “How does this all work?” and “How can I be happier and help others along the way?”. As a result, she found herself studying Shamanism with her current teacher Char Sundust.
Through several years of rigorous study with Char, participation in hundreds of soul level healing ceremonies, and harvesting the healing from many life lessons, Phoenix has been able to developing solid relationships with her Personal Guides and Helping Allies. Phoenix is currently certified as a Shamanic Practitioner who specializes in offering Private Mentorship, Soul Retrieval, Soul Retrieval Integration and Teaching others how to reclaim and maintain one’s own power through the Toltec Wisdom Tool of Recapitulation.
Phoenix currently lives and works in Seattle, WA and is grateful to all of those people, events, and life lessons that have brought her to where she is today. Which is right here, present, in this life right now and doing what she can to help the planet and its inhabitants to move through this time of change.
Phoenix is excited and grateful to be a part of the Sundust Oracle Institute team and looks forward to being an agent for change and transformation in this new year.
Roshi Paquin – SOI Mentorship Practitioner / Clairvoyant Reader / Soul Retrievals
Shamanic practitioner, Intuitive Reader, Creative and Spiritual Mentor, NLP Practitioner, Painter, Writer.
Roshi is a practitioner using shamanic and creative arts to assist her clients in recognizing, responding, fullfilling to their life dreams. The work is focused on gathering the tools needed to support their growth and move toward their destiny and passions for the greater good of themselves and the earth. Roshi is currently working with individuals privately, and is offering classes and workshops.
At a young age Roshi started to talk about vivid and waking dreams with her mother, as she described as spirits communicating with her. Her mother and family member encouraged her that this was real and they would talk about these dreams.
As a teen, her dreams told about future events that then came into being. Roshi started seeing illness in or around people and traumatic events like pictures. She used her hands to remove infections, fevers, ease pain, move the back bone into place, release headaches. As she matured, she knew she needed help to understand these gifts and needed a teacher. She set out in her late teens to find a teacher and began a 3 year journey cross the US living off the grid, and later to Central America. She was exposed to home birth, working with herbs for healing, and living with the land.
Her first teacher was Navajo ropes man in AZ where they began working with the plant spirits and relationship with prayer.Soon after, Roshi met Char Sundust, where they began a nine year experiential apprenticeship with shamanic healing practices, intuitive development, leadership, and ceremony.
Roshi is currently continuing to study with Char Sundust. Roshi studied with Kay Reese completing the NLP program. Roshi has been learning and growing as a painter with Jeff Hengst for several years. I look forward to seeing you this year at SOI!
Mykol Radziszewski, MS, EAMP, Lac – SOI Mentorship Practitioner
Mykol is a Licensed East Asian Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist, having earned his MS in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. He happily celebrates a growing practice with the White Willow Road Healing Center, LLC.His professional background was as a Social Worker for children and families in the foster care system, the elderly, individuals healing through addiction and mental health issues, and communities challenging poverty and the systems that contribute to economic inequality.As a graduate of the Sundust Oracle Institute and a practicing healer and acupuncturist, he is dedicated to the preservation and sustained evolution of ancient and traditional medicine teachings within a modern context. He does this through his continued studies with traditional healers, his work and studies at SOI and through private mentorship in Medical Astrology, herbal medicine and acupuncture.Mykol supports his own well being by honoring his commitments to social and environmental activism, deepening his relationship with ceremony and celebrating his life by tending to his body, spirit, and mind through regular outings in the elements, discovering good foods, delighting in art and music, and strengthening his physical resolve through exercise, Qi Gong and Tai Chi.
He commits to bring into his work at SOI a strong, clear, full and open heart dedicated to the values of truth, integrity, beauty, respect and love. His sacred intention is to act as an encouraging witness and guide to the empowerment of everyone he serves. His prayer in this work is that his clients unfold into a conscious and sustained state of self-sourced love, claiming the power of their true medicine and the gift of destiny that is their life.
Scott Whittaker, LMP – SOI Mentorship Practitioner
Scott Whittaker, LMP, received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Willamette University in Salem, OR in 1992. He is also certified in Massage from the BodyMind Academy in Bellevue, WA. Scott was born in the Northwest. He was raised fishing on the Puget Sound, hiking in the forests, and skiing in the mountains. For several years after college he lived as a monk in monasteries in France, Colorado, and Boston. In 2003 he opened his current healing practice on Bainbridge Island. Since 2004 he has studied with Char Sundust.
Scott offers a number of modalities, including shamanic healing, spiritual direction, breath work, guided meditation and massage. In his work with individuals and groups he seeks to assist others in tapping into the abundant Source within them as they become aware that everything they need is found within their own heart. Scott loves witnessing the healing that occurs when people relax into their being and discover that they have come home.
