FLOW – Bringing Spirit into Form: An Ongoing Program for Writers and Those Who are Called to Write

Teacher: Char Sundust

The Mayan’s have 80 words to express the heart and experiences of the heart…In the Mayan language they say every heart has a glyph and when they say kindness, it is said your heart is a book. They also believe the Gods eat poetry and so we must write and recite to keep the Gods happy – perhaps this is one of the reasons that all sacred texts are poetic, they read like prose and distillations of human experiences to guide us heal us. This class is in alignment that the Mayan’s belief that in every book is a heart and that indeed the Gods revel in poetry. We will explain writing as a practice of the soul and how to bring these sparks of what wishes to be expressed into form in a way that is deeply transformational, healing and clarifying for the writer, the reader and the future generations to come.

October 2017

Beginning Friday October 20th – Sunday October 22nd
Mentoring & Leadership Circle – 2017-2018

This is a 4-weekend mentoring program

Teacher: Char Sundust

This program is for those who wish to deepen their mentoring and leadership skills. Patrick O’Neill says: “the coach works only in the business realm, but the mentor works with all fields in the mentee’s life: the spiritual, relationships, business and wisdom for the soul.” In the Tao of Leadership, John Heider says, “we mentor someone when what we have to offer meets the needs of someone else.” We all have gifts and experiences that have given us a way to give clarity and perspective to those who ask. This program offers, in detail, the do’s and don’ts of mentoring, passion and compassion in leadership, practice ethics, the guiding questions of the mentor, roles and ground-rules of the mentee and mentor relationship, strengthening and deepening the gifts and talents of the mentee, bringing leadership skills home in a way where everybody wins. It is a great honor to be a mentor and to be a mentee, to share what is good about life, and to be a guide in the currents of challenge and stillness of love. It is a great gift with clear requirements. I look forward to sharing these perspectives with you and learning together in the sacred container of trust and growth.
This workshop is open to everyone. This workshop is a requirement for all Sundust Oracle Institute TA’s.

“All Healing Begins With the Soul “– Thomas Moore

We walk through our lives as a labyrinth…. this can be walked consciously or unconsciously. If we are not conscious we sometimes become lost not recognizing there’s one way in and one way out.
In this work we walk the labyrinth of our lives together. We work with the discanso and the Cairn in order to repair the soul and the heart and to move into fulfillment.
In this course we explore in depth Jeanne Achtenberg’s concepts and principles of healing. We work with cross cultural healing modalities and principals to acknowledge, purify, inspire and stand witness to the places that are calling for healing, growth, regeneration and completion.
We will do the work of aligning the body, mind and spirit in the same direction so that the statement “Healer, Heal Thyself” can be a truism through the work we do together. To get a clear view of what is not working – so we can really look at and act on what is.

We bring who we are to all of our relationships.Relationships guide us through the wild territory of who we are. How do we receive those gifts? What do relationships give us? We will learn tools to become more full-hearted in our relationships. If we are not whole, how can we ask anyone else to be what we ourselves are not?Experientially, we will explore the terrain of our own happiness and what a relationship needs through its many initiations and fires. To co-create a loving and truthful partnership, the fire of transmutation, the flow of flexibility, the spirit of shared and personal vision, and the profound innocence it takes to fall in love.
